Sun Halo

This photo doesn't do it justice, but there was a halo rainbow around the sun on Monday afternoon.

MUAH! Thanks for dropping by! From TodayInSeven I gather that this hasn't been the easiest week for you! Hope the ex minimizes the drama she throws at your way, much love <3 and have a great week!

Dang, you're going to be one busy guy ...speaking of which, am trying to stay up till midnight to log in early to my online class, but soooooo sleepy now -- anyway, I recall that night Blogger was freezing up, so tried your e-mail once but the screen froze so I closed the window for the night. Good luck with the upcoming project, and your writing, which reminds me, I'm hoping I can enroll in late-starting or summer online creative writing courses as it's the only way I can both keep myself on track and also work it around work. Good night :)

I don't know if I've ever seen that before. It looks so serene.

A rainbow around the sun?

The photograph makes me squint a little. (smile)

Even a photograph of the sun is brighter than bright. How on earth did you shoot this? Weren't you blinded or seeing those halos in your vision for hours afterward?

Hi Letty

Thanks for stopping in and smiling me. Does the Blogger use Microsoft Outlook Express? I always have problems with that so I usually just copy the email addy and sent it from my regular email service.

Keep studying and running! Have fun.

Hi Lala!

It was pretty cool to "see" and I too had never before saw it so I was glad to get a shot of it. I had to put my camera on the ground to try and get as much of it in the shot as possible as it was shortly after noon, sun high in the sky and when standing, I could only get about half of it in the frame. To look at it with the naked eye, we had to block the sun out with our hand and just look at part of the halo arounf the edge.
Good to see you!

Hi Laurel!
It was pretty bright for sure...lol and I had to use some exposure adjustment in my software to get the brightness out of it. Thanks for stopping in!!
